EFFJAY PROJEKTS Gallery to Host Special Exhibition for Art Educators

EFFJAY PROJEKTS Gallery is pleased to announce it will host the Wisconsin Art Education Association’s 2012 Membership Exhibition. This exhibition will feature works by art educators/artists from across the state of Wisconsin. Participating artists are Penny Blank (Holmen), Erica Becker (Green Bay), John-Paul Butcher (Osseo), Jill Fortin (Medford), Cindy Friese (Franksville), Debra Heermans (Wauwatosa), Jessica Jones (Madison), Mary Krause (New Berlin), Erin LaBonte (Manitowoc), Antoinette Mattern (Sheboygan), Lynn Molenda (Adell), Tony Riel (Edgerton), Brett Roberts (Silver Lake), Carol Rokicki (Sheboygan), Kate Schafer (West Bend), Brian Sommersberger (Sheboygan), Jennifer Sweeney (Mondovi), Marcia Thompson (West Salem), Alice Tzakais (Fond du Lac) and Lisa Ulik (Onalaska).

The Wisconsin Art Education Association mission is to promote excellence in visual art and design education for all students by providing professional growth opportunities for visual art and design teachers, showcasing student talents and abilities. As well as supporting art and design as academic core disciplines, communicating with other art and design organizations, offering lifelong learning opportunities and acting on vital art and design education issues. Special gallery hours for this exhibition are Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26 from 11am to 3pm during the 2012 WAEA Fall Conference. The gallery is located at 604 Erie Avenue, Lower Level in Sheboygan. This exhibition runs from October 4 – 26, 2012.
